Competitiveness seems to become the central focus of European politics over the next five years. The EU is falling behind economically and geopolitically – but can it find the right solutions? Join this online debate with experts from Denmark, Croatia and Belgium.

Geopolitics is back
How can the EU secure its position in a world where competition from major economies like the US and China is tougher than ever? With challenges such as the technological race, the green transition, rising energy prices, and global pressures, the EU stands at a crossroad. How can the EU create economic growth and jobs without compromising on climate goals, social rights, and fair market conditions?

How does the EU find the balance?
Green technology and digitalisation are set to drive the future of Europe, but is the EU ready to take the lead? And how does the EU balance its ambitions with a global economy increasingly characterised by protectionism and state subsidies?

Join a pan-European debate
Take part in our online debate, where experts from three EU member states – Croatia, Belgium, and Denmark – will explore these critical questions. The expert from Belgium will be announced soon.
